There can be any number of reasons why grown men will get adult male acne. Now we all know when you’re a teenager the reasons why acne happens.

What we don’t know is the reason why adult male acne happens. Of course there are a few theories as to why it happens, but none of these can be proven indefinitely. If you want to begin to cure your acne as an adult male first you’ll need to understand the causes for it. Here is one of the causes for the acne you may be experiencing as an adult. Using Certain Moisturizers:

Unbeknown to a lot of adults they often use certain moisturizers on their face that are supposed to keep their skin healthy looking , but sometimes these moisturizers that are supposed to help your skin stay healthy end up causing severe acne. The moisturizers can clog up your pores which of course will lead to acne. Another culprit is often times the pores have not been cleaned properly in the first place and dirt and oil still resides deep in them. Thick creamy moisturizers only add to the problem.

Now there are many other reasons for adult male acne. But no matter the cause good skin care and proper cleansing should be able to prevent most extreme cases. This is especially the case if you’re an adult male, as adult males usually don’t have more of the hormonal problems that younger males face.
